What it does

Chat cipher encrypts your message with a password, then writes the ciphertext as a string of casual chat messages in Czech or English. Paste that cover text back here with the same password and language to recover the original.

The encryption

Your password is stretched with PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 (600,000 iterations) and a random salt into a 256-bit key. The message is sealed with AES-256-GCM. A wrong password or a changed cover text fails closed instead of returning garbage.

Chat cover text

Czech uses Kecal (≈38 MB), a small Czech chat model trained for this tool. English uses Falcon-H1-Tiny (≈94 MB). Each pack downloads once from encrypt.click and stays in this browser. Ciphertext bits choose the next words from the model so the result reads like someone typing a burst of messages. Expect a long cover even for a short secret, because salt, nonce and tag always travel with it.

Download and privacy

Packs are fetched only from encrypt.click, never from third-party model hosts in the browser. After download they stay in this browser’s cache. Encrypt and decrypt do not contact the network. Clearing site data removes the pack.

Good to know

The cover looks like chat to a casual reader, but anyone who knows this tool can tell it is generated. Use a long passphrase. Sender and receiver must pick the same language. Other languages are not supported yet.
